The
Uinta mountains are situated in eastern Utah, a western portion of
the great Rocky Mountains. Here we live and work to create Rustic Furniture.
Whether trail-running, biking or back-country skiing, our eyes are
always open in search of standing dead Aspen trees with natural design
which could be the next artistic piece. From our minds to our hands,
furniture is designed and crafted to bring special beauty into your
home.
We enjoy using Aspen for the grain colors, natural shapes, and bark
patterns, as well as, Lodgepole Pine for the straighter, western, Pioneer
appeal. The wood we have collected is then hand-peeled with a drawknife.
We also use weathered wood or alder with inlay or accents of slate
or copper to create a very unique rustic look. Production then begins
in our workshop. Construction with mortise and tenon joinery is the
standard as well as some well designed simple joinery. The furniture
is then sanded to a smooth, perfect feel, and ultimately finished to
exquisite beauty with oils, and waxes.
Our work is primarily custom, and made to your order. Email us or just
